Canadian Marketing Association awards two honorary life memberships

The Canadian Marketing Association has given honorary life memberships to James McPhedran and Barbara Robins in recognition of their contributions to the Canadian marketing community and the association. McPhedran, the senior vice-president of the Ontario region at Scotiabank, has been a member of the association's board of directors since 2001 and was its chair in 2007 and 2008. Robins, vice-president of legal and regulatory affairs for Canada, Asia-Pacific and Latin America at Reader's Digest, sat on the association's board from 2001 to 2009. During that time she chaired the organization's ethics and privacy committee.
