BC Hydro retains DDB Canada

BC Hydro has retained DDB Canada of Vancouver as its agency of record for an additional three years. DDB will continue to provide communication support for the BC Hydro and Power Smart brands. DDB received the assignment after a four-month evaluation process. "We are pleased to be able to continue our partnership with DDB," said Cynthia Dyson, director of marketing and brand strategy at BC Hydro. "They have been instrumental to the growth of our brands in the marketplace. Their work has supported BC Hydro's overall goal of building a conservation culture in BC through our Power Smart program." DDB Canada was first hired by BC Hydro in 2006. OMD Vancouver will continue to handle BC Hydro's media planning and buying.
