Air Canada begins Go Far campaign

Air Canada has begun a new advertising campaign called "Go Far." The campaign, developed by Marketel Communications, consists of three television commercials as well as print and online ads and sponsorship activities at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. The initiative will run through the year. The creative features Canadians describing what it means to them to "go far," set in locations including London, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Calgary and Banff National Park. "Go far is a very relevant platform for Air Canada," said Nancy Lee Jobin, vice-president of client services at Marketel. "It reflects a new corporate philosophy, taps into a sense of personal and national pride and underscores Air Canada's position as the only national carrier that can take Canadians to destinations around the world."
