National Bank Financial Group has extended its sponsorship agreement with Tennis Canada to become the presenting sponsor of the Rogers Cup in Toronto until 2013. The bank has also renewed its presenting sponsorship of the Montreal Rogers Cup tournament until 2013. National Bank will also sponsor a new women's event in Toronto called the Challenger. "National Bank has been synonymous with tennis at all levels in Quebec and a wonderful partner for us," said Michael Downey, president and CEO of Tennis Canada. "Our common philosophy extends to more than a simple partnership as it will bring significant support to our sport. National Bank understands not only the importance of our two marquee events, but also the need to grow the game and provide opportunities for future Canadian stars."
