The Globe and Mail debuted a new automotive website this week called Globedrive.com. The site offers feature stories, advice, information on various makes and models of vehicle, and lifestyle pieces. In addition, the newspaper's Thursday auto section, which runs only in Ontario, has been rebranded Globe Drive and will run an expanded range of editorial and lifestyle content. "Globe Drive will be just as appealing to women and younger drivers as Globe Auto has been to our core audience of affluent and mature car enthusiasts," said Andrew Saunders, advertising sales vice-president at the Globe and Mail. "We've given advertisers the platform to cater to an audience they want: not just automotive enthusiasts, but passionate drivers."
