Theatre Under the Stars introduces new branding

Karo Group of Vancouver has awarded a $50,000 rebranding effort to Theatre Under the Stars, a theatre company that performs in Stanley Park. The company won the work in the agency's annual Karo Kaus competition. The new brand, which is intended to connect the theatre company with the park, includes advertising, rack cards and a new website. The creative makes use of a visual style recalling the 1950s and features raccoons, geese and other wildlife in the park. "Theatre Under the Stars was chosen as this year's recipient because it's an organization with so much heart that you want it to succeed," said Warren Baxter, managing director of Karo Group Vancouver. "For us, that meant coming up with a new look that really celebrated its location and the experience of going to a TUTS show. The new brand will help put TUTS on the world stage."
