Laura Murray Public Relations becomes Murray Paterson Marketing Group

Vancouver-based Laura Murray Public Relations has changed its name to Murray Paterson Marketing Group. According to the agency, the new name is part of a larger rebranding effort intended to better reflect the firm's range of services. The name also recognizes the position of new partner Brian Paterson, head of the digital and marketing division. The rebranding includes a new logo and a redesigned website at <http://www.mpmgarts.com>.

The agency specializes in arts and culture clients, including the Push International Performing Arts Festival, the Museum of Anthropology, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival, Theatre Under the Stars, and the Vancouver Opera, among others. The firm plans to expand into Toronto in 2018.

"Our new name, Murray Paterson Marketing Group, marks the commencement of an exciting chapter in our journey," said Laura Murray, founding partner of the agency. "As we celebrate the agency's five-year anniversary and the rapid growth we've been fortunate to experience in the arts and culture sector, it was of great importance to me to recognize the immense contributions of Brian Paterson, who has been with the company since its founding in summer of 2011."
