Parmalat promotes cheese snacks

Parmalat has begun a promotion in support of its Black Diamond and Ficello Cheese snacks. Specially-marked packages of the products contain a card bearing an identification number. Consumers who submit these numbers to the website at <http://www.cheestrings.ca> can play an online game and collect points. Points can also be collected from the YTV.com website. Players can win daily instant prizes or the grand prize, a "Coolest Room in the House" package worth $10,000. The promotion was developed by Solutions with Impact of Toronto. "This promotion leverages equity in Cheesy, the brand's character, and reinforces the 'Real Fun, Real Cheese' positioning of the brand," said Shawn Mosoce, vice-president at the agency.
