Jewish General Hospital updates brand

Taxi Montreal has developed a new logo for the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal as part of the hospital's 75th anniversary. The logo is a representation of a tree with leaves of various colours. The image is intended to reflect both the hospital's Jewish legacy and its dedication to the healthcare of all patients. "We wanted to introduce a modern look and convey an inclusive message," said Dave Watson, creative design director at Taxi. "The Tree of Life is widely recognized as a symbol of renewal and life, and is relevant to many religions and traditions. Similarly, the JGH upholds Jewish values of protecting, nurturing and uniting life by providing medical treatment to patients from all backgrounds." This is the first change in the hospital's logo since it opened in 1934.
