Communications Meca become Peppercom affiliate, gains account

Communications Meca of Toronto has joined New York-based public relations agency Peppercom as its Canadian affiliate. "As a bilingual PR firm with full service offices in both Montreal and Toronto, we are uniquely positioned to offer Peppercom, our network partners and their clients, professional PR services across Canada," said Esther Buchsbaum, partner in Communications Meca. "Reciprocally, this new association will enable us to reach into markets and access resources to benefit and enhance our clients' needs on a global scale." Peppercom has such agreements with 25 firms in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and North America.
In related news, the Florida-based Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau has retained Communications Meca of Toronto as its public relations agency of record in Canada. "We have a very special affinity for the Canadian market and will be working very closely with Meca to help strengthen and reinforce our relationships with Canadian leisure and corporate travelers," said Susan Lomax Greer, associate vice-president of publicity for the bureau.
