Quebecor Media adds one, promotes one

Montreal-based Quebecor Media has appointed Isabelle Dessureault to the position of vice-president of public affairs. She will be responsible for internal and external communications, institutional and regulatory affairs, and the company's brand image. She will also be the company's spokesperson. Dessureault was most recently at Videotron, where she was general manager of communications and then vice-president of corporate affairs and the Vox television channel. Prior to that, she was a partner in the Montreal office of National Public Relations. Serge Sasseville has been appointed to the position of vice-president of corporate and institutional affairs at Quebecor Media. He will also continue to be vice-president of entertainment and multimedia. Prior to joining Quebecor in 2007, Sasseville was president of the music division at Archambault Group.
