New Brunswick conducts event marketing campaign
By Adnews Staff
The Government of New Brunswick is conducting an event marketing campaign in support of its "Good News for A Change" initiative. The campaign, called "Random Acts of Wellness," was developed by SGCI of Sackville, NB and Newad of Montreal. It encourages residents of the province to share stories about wellness stories and make healthier lifestyle choices. During the campaign, promotional workers in branded clothing will work to raise awareness of the program in high-traffic locations. Consumers can participate in a simulated newscast in which they report good news about their health. Some videos will be posted online. Participants are also entered into a draw for $5,000 in food and a diet makeover. The promotion will run until March 2009. The overall initiative is aimed primarily at 18- to 45-year-old head-of-household mothers. This effort includes television commercials and a website.
