NESTLE INTRODUCES JUICE MADE WITH WHOLE FRUIT

Nestlé Canada is launching an Ontario campaign in mid-July for its Libby's Real Fruit Beverages. The campaign will use sampling, transit and radio done by BOOM Design of Toronto. Libby's Real Fruit Beverages were introduced in Ontario earlier this month. There are three lines: Thick Juices, Spritzers and Lemonades. Thick Juices are made from the whole fruit including the seeds and skins, unlike most other fruit drinks which use only the fruit juice. The Spritzers use the same purée but carbonated water is added. The third line, the real fruit Lemonades, vary in tartness from Sorta Sweet to Kinda Sour and Really Sour. If the juices do well in Ontario, they will be rolled out to the rest of Canada in 1997.
