DRUG IMPROVES LIFE OF AGING DOGS

Draxis Health Inc. of Toronto launched a national trade campaign earlier this month for Anipryl, a new drug for dogs to treat canine Cushing's disease. The drug was introduced in Canada in May and is available only through veterinarians. The ads were created by Healthwise Creative Resource Group of Toronto and Media Focus of Waterloo, Ont. The symptoms include increased thirst and urination, changes in appetite, muscle weakness, hair loss, decreased activity, excessive panting and behavioral changes such as lethargy or alterations in sleep patterns.
