FIFTEEN CANADIAN COMPANIES MAKE THE TOP 200 LIST

Fifteen Canadian companies are among the 200 fastest-growing companies in the world, according to a study be Deloitte & Touche and Braxton Associates. They are: Hudson's Bay Company, Newbridge Networks Corp., Metro-Richelieu, United Dominion Industries, International Forest Products, Geac Computer Corp., Franco Nevada Mining Corp., Slocan Forest Products, Barrick Gold Corp., Linamar Corp., Toromont Industries., The Horsham Corp., Harris Steel Group, Onex Corp., and Slater Industries. The study is based on ongoing research which identifies specific links between the growth rate of companies and their returns to shareholders over time. Deloitte & Touche of Toronto is a management consulting firm. Braxton is the international strategy consulting division of Deloitte.
