CTV readies So You Think You Can Dance campaign

CTV will begin a national promotional campaign on Sept. 1 in support of its new program So You Think You Can Dance Canada. The initiative will consist of outdoor, radio and online advertising. Bus advertising will be used in Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton, while transit shelter ads will run in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. Thirty-second radio commercials will air in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and Quebec City. More out-of-home advertising will take place in six Toronto subway cars and in Union Station. Billboards will also be installed in the downtown area of the city. Promotional workers in branded vehicles will also perform dance routines in high-traffic areas in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. National online advertising will run through Ad.com. In addition, television commercials are airing on various CTVglobemedia channels. The campaign was developed by the CTV Creative Agency. "Due to the strength of the top-rated CTV schedule, we have a unique opportunity to focus our firepower during fall launch on the one new series everyone's talking about," said Rick Lewchuk, senior vice-president of the agency.
