SKIN CARE LINE REVAMPED
By Adnews Staff
Stella Pharmaceutical Canada has reformulated and expanded its line of SNAP facial cleansing products and will launch them in the Quebec market in the fall. The new formulation contains tea trea extract, which is derived from the leaves of the Melaleuca Alternifolia tree that grows in New South Wales. It is a natural antiseptic that softens skin and reduces acne. TV and print advertising will support the launch of the line. It will be created by VMC Media of Toronto. Co-op advertising with retailers will also be used. The reformulated line will be rolled out across Canada next spring. There are eight products in the line, including antibacterial facial cleanser, toner, soap, oil absorbing lotion, oil-free moisturizer and facial scrub. The original versions of SNAP have been on the market since the 1960s with four products in the line: two facial scrubs and two toners.
