Parmalat Canada begins barbecue promotion

Parmalat Canada has begun a national in-store program called "A Slice of the Good Life" to promote its Black Diamond and Lactantia sliced cheese brands. The initiative is tied to the start of the summer barbecue season. Purchasers of specially-marked packages of these products can enter a contest to win a four-week summer cottage rental worth $25,000. Twenty Weber barbecues will also be distributed as secondary prizes. The packages also contain coupons for discounts on hamburger-related products such as Strub's pickles, Villaggio buns and HP sauce. The promotion was developed and Solutions with Impact of Toronto.
