GlaxoSmithKline conducts Tums promotion

GlaxoSmithKline has begun an in-store promotion for its Tums brand of antacid. The national initiative, called "Take Time Out with Tums," was developed by Solutions with Impact of Toronto. During the promotion, consumers who purchase specially-marked packages of Tums will find an identification number on the packaging. This number can be submitted through the Tums.ca website for a chance to win a $10,000 travel voucher. Weekly prizes of $100 vouchers from participating retailers will also be distributed. In addition, as part of the brand's sponsorship of the Canadian Football League, consumers who mail-in two proofs of purchase will receive a CFL hat signed by the team quarterback of their choice.
