Compass Rose Group opens in Ottawa

A new public affairs agency called Compass Rose Group has launched in Ottawa. The firm will specialize in public policy consulting, government relations and advocacy. It is headed by Jacquie LaRocque, most recently managing principal of Ensight Canada. Prior to that, she worked in government affairs at GlaxoSmithKline and was director of communications to the Minister of International Trade. LaRocque has also been communications director at RX&D.
"My goal is to help clients achieve specific goals by creating and executing clear, practical, cost-effective strategies," said LaRocque. "Leading the Compass Rose Group allows me to be close to my clients to ensure they get the attention they deserve.
