Tim Hortons promotes Moir

Donut chain Tim Hortons of Oakville, ON has appointed Bill Moir to the position of chief brand and marketing officer, as well as president of the Tim Horton Children's Foundation. He will also be accountable for research and development. Moir joined the company in 1990 as vice-president of Marketing and became executive vice-president of marketing in 1997. He has also worked at K-Tel, Shell Oil and Labatt Breweries. Moir's promotion is part of an overall shuffle of senior executives intended to streamline the company's management structure.
