Representation roundup

Western Producer Publications of Saskatoon has signed a national advertising sales representation agreement with Canadian Primedia Sales & Marketing for its magazine Acreage Life. The publication is a lifestyle and general interest magazine aimed at people who live on country properties near cities. The magazine is issued five times per year and has a circulation of 75,000 in the Greater Toronto Area, the prairies, the Calgary-Edmonton corridor and the lower mainland of British Columbia. "Acreage Life is a cleverly conceived, niche magazine that successfully caters to the affluent consumer who owns acreage property," said Primedia president Ron Clark. "It is an ideal addition to our growing roster of shelter and upscale consumer magazines."

Parenting website CanadianBabies.ca has signed an online advertising sales representation agreement with UpTrend Media of Toronto. According to the company, the site receives an average of 10,000 unique Canadian viewers per month. "We immediately recognized the importance of partnering with an independently owned online resource like CanadianBabies.ca," said Duke McKenzie, managing director of UpTrend. "From our own experiences as parents, having a destination online where likeminded new moms and dads can source information and share experiences, particularly Canadian ones, is invaluable."
