The Economist signs representation deal with Primedia

The Economist Group of London, UK has hired Toronto-based Canadian Primedia Sales & Marketing as its Canadian advertising sales representative. The agreement includes the publisher's full range of print and digital properties, including The Economist, 1843, The World In, Ideas People Media and Economist Films. The deal also includes content marketing programs and other sales activities.

"Canadian Primedia is a top tier advertising sales agency that joins our global network of sales agents," said Nick Mesquita, global head of external agents at The Economist Group. "We have ambitious sales plans for Canada and Primedia is ideally suited to achieve them."
