Representation roundup

UpTrend Media of Toronto has signed an online advertising sales agreement with the Canadian Football League. The company will handle ad sales for the soon-to-launch CFL Network collection of websites for the league and its teams. The league expects these sites to attract 70 to 90 million pages views per year. The sites will offer game highlights, interviews, scores and statistics. "As Canada's leading independent online advertising representation network, UpTrend is perfectly positioned to help us deepen the connection between our league, our fans and our partners," said CFL commissioner Mark Cohon. "In today's climate, marketers are working harder than ever before to deliver real value for their employers and clients, and the new CFL Network is designed to deliver that value. We're confident that it will attract new partners, and provide enhanced benefits for our existing partners."
