Wendy's begins Baconator Boot Camp contest

Fast food chain Wendy's will begin a contest promotion in association with today called "Wendy's Baconator Boot Camp." The initiative is aimed primarily at men between the ages of 18 and 24. During the promotion, customers who by a Baconator hamburger at a Wendy's location will receive a coupon containing a code number. Recipients can submit this code at the website to enter the contest. Three grand prize winners will receive a trip for two to Toronto and tickets to a concert by rock group Simple Plan. One additional winner will receive a trip for two to Toronto and tickets to a Toronto Argonauts game. One additional winner will receive a $4,000 gift card from Best Buy and a Microsoft Xbox 360 video game console. Participants can also submit their code number by text message to enter a daily draw for one of 33 Xbox 360 machines. The contest will be supported with broadcast, online and in-store advertising.
