Trader Corporation introduces New Car

Trader Corporation of Montreal has launched a new publication called New Car as an extention of its Auto Trader brand. The monthly publication is aimed at consumers who are shopping for a new vehicle. The free magazine is being distributed in Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. It will launch in Montreal later this month. The publication's total circulation is 230,000. The company has also expanded its Autotrader.ca website to include listings of and searches for new cars. "Auto Trader is Canada's number one destination for buying and selling vehicles and we want to further extend our leadership to the new car market," said Paul Gallucci, the company's vice-president of online services. "These new additions to our product portfolio will provide Canadians with a more comprehensive shopping experience." The new magazine is being promoted with a national television advertising campaign done in the style of a campaign for a dating service. The creative uses the tagline, "Come and meet your perfect match."
