Branchez-Vous buys two websites

Montreal-based Branchez-Vous has acquired two Quebec websites: Fanatique.ca and HumourQuebec.com. Fanatique.ca is a sports news site with approximately 250,000 Canadian visitors per month, while HumourQuebec.com is a comedy site with approximately 100,000 Canadian visitors per month. The publisher of both sites, Émile Girard, has joined Branchez-Vous as a producer. "Fanatique.ca will be a perfect complement to the Branchez-Vous.com information portal," said Carl Charest, the company's content director. "As for HumourQuebec.com, it will join a new group of entertainment sites anchored by Showbizz.net." No financial details are available.
