Liquidation World hires Doug Agency

Retail chain Liquidation World, based in Brantford, ON, has hired Doug Agency of Toronto as its agency of record. Doug won the account in a review process that began in the fall of 2007. The agency's first work for the company will be a national brand campaign including television, radio, print and online advertising, as well as in-store materials. "The effort put in and enthusiasm of everyone at Doug Agency was evident and appreciated," said Jonathan Hill, president and CEO of Liquidation World. "Their very experienced management team demonstrated a strong strategic understanding of our business which enabled them to nail our brand's essence right out of the gate. Plus they have been successful thus far at executing on time and on budget." Liquidation World operated 103 retail outlets in Canada.
