Sony Ericsson holds camera phone contest

Sony Ericsson has begun an online contest called "The Search." Participants can enter by submitting photographs taken with cell phones to the website <http://www.sonyericsson.com/ca/thesearch>. Photographs will be divided into three categories: Action and Adventure, Fun and Games, and Everyday Moments. Visitors to the site will then vote for winners. The top three pictures in each category will receive a Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber-shot camera phone and be invited to submit new images for the final round of the contest. These pictures will be judged by a panel including reality show winner Brian Melo, blogger Amber MacCarthur and photographer Peter Burian. The winner will receive a travel certificate worth $10,000. The contest closes on March 23.
