New senior management at Rare Method

Calgary-based interactive agency Rare Method has appointed Tom Short to the position of president. For the last four years he has been a vice-president and member of the board of directors of the firm. He joined Rare Method in 2003 when the agency acquired his former firm, Idea Machine. James Waddock has been appointed chief operating officer of Rare Method. He joined the agency in 2006 as a senior strategist. He has also worked at Telus, Tefina Technologies, and Webcore Labs. Nick Noronha has been appointed chief financial officer. He joined the firm in 2006 as controller. Prior to that, he was as senior associate at Hudson and Company. He was also the assistant controller position at Pulse Data. Eric White has been appointed executive vice-president and general manager of the agency's Salt Lake City office. David Blain has been appointed executive vice-president of business development in Utah. Jeff Olsen has been appointed chief creative officer of Rare Method. Evan Spiropoulos, formerly interim president and CFO, remains chairman of the board.
