Aeroplan begins Connect and Collect campaign

Loyalty program Aeroplan began a winter promotion on Oct. 15 called "Connect and Collect." The initiative is intended to encourage members of the program to interact with participating companies outside their usual spending patterns. Members will receive bonus points when they conduct a transaction with one of these companies for the first time. The offer is being promoted with an advertising campaign in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. The campaign includes murals and posters in Toronto-area Go transit stations. Print advertising is running in Metro Toronto, enRoute magazine and the Globe and Mail. Column wraps and posters have been installed in the airports of all three cities. Direct mail and online materials will also be used. The promotion will run until Nov. 30.
