Recycling campaign underway in Quebec

LXB Communication Marketing has developed a campaign promoting municipal recycling in the province of Quebec. The campaign, called "Do Good, Do Green," is being jointly conducted by Éco Entreprises Québec, Fédération Québécoise des Municipalités, Recyc-Québec, Recyclemédias and Union des municipalités du Québec. The campaign encourages Quebec residents to dispose of paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and metal in recycling bins. The campaign is running in French and English daily newspapers, weekly publications and magazines in the province. "The campaign rests on a very simple value, which is a friendly little winged character which represents our consciousness," said André Bouchard, vice-president of planning and research at LXB. "It will appear in every message to remind us that it is important to 'Do Good, Do Green' in order to recycle more and better. Moreover, such an approach offers us the possibility to emphasize on the urgency to take action without preaching."
