Eco Entreprises Quebec begins awareness campaign

Éco Entreprises Québec of Montreal has begun an awareness campaign called “Bin Impact” intended to educate consumers about the correct sorting of recyclable materials. It consists of television, radio and print advertising, as well as social media content. The creative seeks to inform consumers that only containers, packaging and printed matter should go into a recycling bin.

“As the organization in charge of managing curbside recycling, we want to raise public awareness of the importance of sorting to improve the quality and quantity of the materials sent to sorting centres,” said Maryse Vermette, president and CEO of the non-profit organization. “Bin Impact is a positive and engaging initiative to improve the system's efficiency at a time when many questions still remain about what should or should not go in the bin.”
