Vancouver-based Chrisco Canada has retained ACLC as its agency of record in Canada. This is the first time the company has hired an agency of record for Canada since expanding into this country in 2002. Chrisco is a mail order company that specialized in hampers of seasonal Christmas and summer food. According to company president Steven Tsambalieros, the company chose ACLC because of its brand-building experience. ACLC is working on new television, print, online and direct mail advertising, as well as redesigning the firm's catalogue. The work will debut when Chrisco begins is next campaign in October. "As well as marketing the brand, the campaign will have to educate consumers about the Chrisco sales model, which combines affordability with the appeal of a joyful and bountiful food-filled home," said Glenn Stanley-Paul, senior vice-president of the agency.
