Air Miles conducts Wish Big Win Big promotion

Toronto-based loyalty program Air Miles has begun a national contest promotion called “Wish Big Win Big.” The winner of the contest will receive 50,000 loyalty points to spend on a prize of their choice. “Wish Big Win Big was designed to reflect the needs and wants of our collectors,” said Caroline Papadatos, senior vice-president of Air Miles. “Our collectors told us they wanted to win the type of things they wouldn’t ordinarily purchase for themselves. They also told us they wanted flexibility in their prizing.” Air Miles members can enter the contest by using a contest coupon when making a purchase from participating program sponsors from April 22 to June 2. Members can also enter by making a purchase with an eligible credit card. The contest is being promoted with direct mail, in-store materials and a website at WishBig.ca. A multi-media promotion is also being conducted through the Citytv CityLine program. In addition, promotional workers are visiting SportChek, Safeway, Sobeys and A&P Dominion store in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Halifax in support of the initiative.
