The New York Times has signed an agreement with AOL Canada making that company its exclusive third party online advertising sales representative in Canada for NYTimes.com. According to the company, the NYTimes.com website receives approximately one million Canadian visitors per month. The deal also includes online ad sales for the International Herald Tribune website at IHT.com. “NYTimes.com and IHT.com are two premium news sites that support AOL Canada’s expansion of our online advertising network and give Canadian advertisers the opportunity to reach a particular category of Canadians surfing online, from Bay Streeters to cottage country retirees,” said Jonathan Lister, general manager of AOL Canada.
