Panasonic Canada promotes plasma screen on Sportsnet Connected

Panasonic Canada of Mississauga has secured a product placement position for its new 103-inch high definition plasma video display on Sportsnet Connected, a new sports news program on specialty channel Rogers Sportsnet. According to the company, this is the first time the display has been incorporated into a television news or entertainment program in Canada. “Sportsnet Connected aims to be the most entertaining, informative and fast-paced sports highlights and information show in Canada,” said Dave Akande, vice-president of content at Rogers Sportsnet. “When designing the look for the new show, we searched for the most crisp and dynamic technology to include in the set. The 103-inch display is the ideal eye-catcher for the program and for our on-air hosts to talk to when reviewing highlights and clips.”
