New president at St. Joseph Media

Toronto-based St. Joseph Communications has appointed Douglas Knight president of St. Joseph Media. Knight was previously the publisher and CEO of The Toronto Sun, a position he departed in 2000. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at The Financial Post, becoming publisher for five years in 1992. He also spent four years as publisher of The Financial Post Magazine. Knight was most recently the chairman and CEO of a New York-based Spanish language newspaper chain. St. Joseph Media publishes Toronto Life, Fashion Magazine, Wish, Gardening Life, Canadian Family, WeddingBells, Mariage Québec, Where Canada, Quill & Quire and Ottawa Magazine.
