Metro Canada debuts automotive section

Commuter newspaper publisher Metro Canada has introduced a new weekly automotive section in collaboration with Carguide magazine. The section, called Metro Carguide, will run each Wednesday in the paper’s Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver editions. The section will carry car reviews and columns about safety, maintenance and lifestyle produced by the editorial staff of Carguide. “Metro reaches consumers who are buying cars,” said Bill McDonald, publisher of Metro Toronto. “With the launch of Metro Carguide, we are giving our readers the information they are looking for. We are confident our readers and advertisers alike will embrace this new entry into the market.” Carguide is published monthly by Formula Publications.
