Wal-Mart releases new commercials in Quebec

Wal-Mart Canada will break two new television commercials in Quebec today. The first of the 30-second holiday season ads shows a man giving a gift to his grandmother. The second depicts a couple decorating their house for the season while their daughter sleeps next to their Christmas tree. Both use the tagline, “The lady was happy,” a line that was first used in a Wal-Mart testimonial-style ad from ten years ago. The campaign was created by Allard Johnson Communications of Montreal.
