Wal-Mart Canada breaks Greener Good campaign

Wal-Mart Canada of Mississauga has begun a communication and advertising campaign called "For the Greener Good" intended to demonstrate its environmental initiatives. The advertising depicts the company's efforts to produce less waste, use more renewable energy and carry more environmentally-friendly products. The campaign consists of a 30-second television commercial, online ads and a new website at <http://www.forthegreenergood.ca>. "We believe it's our responsibility to contribute to our customers' quality of life by saving people money so they can live better but by also being an environmental leader," said John Lawrence, director of corporate social responsibility at Wal-Mart Canada. "Sustainability starts in our own house and is being incorporated into our business in many ways."
