Credit Canada begins new campaign

Toronto-based credit counselling company Credit Canada has begun a new advertising campaign. The initiative consists of transit and radio advertising developed by Holmes and Lee, also based in Toronto. "The simple headline campaign we initially developed for Credit Canada when we took over the account in 2006 is working hard for the organization, generating significant increases in both awareness and calls among people who need help resolving debt problems," said agency president John Lee. "We're continuing with this creative approach, but narrowing our media to transit that has the best potential to reach as many target consumers as possible. While Credit Canada still maintains a year-round presence in subway and select outdoor advertising, this year there is a shift in emphasis to bus backs. So we created work that is to be read from behind the bus." The transit creative uses copy such as, "Actually, we're behind you," and "You can follow a budget too."
