Cohn & Wolfe moves into Calgary

Toronto-based Cohn & Wolfe Canada has acquired a majority interest in Extend Marketing of Calgary. The firm will operate under the Cohn & Wolfe name as the agency’s Calgary office. Extend’s partners, Ceilidh Price, Trevor Beckman and Robb Price, will remain at the agency and continue to lead its operations. “Extend Marketing is an excellent fit with Cohn & Wolfe and will provide our clients with greater access to the Alberta market,” said Carol Panasiuk, executive vice-president of Cohn & Wolfe Toronto. “Over the past five years, Extend has established a strong and loyal client base, providing Alberta-based organizations such as EnCana with results-driven programs and flawless execution.” Extend Marketing offers media relations, public relations, event management, graphic design and Web design services. Cohn & Wolfe Canada is owned by National Public Relations.
