Oakley Canada retains Optimum Public Relations

Oakley Canada has hired Optimum Public Relations to handle the launch of two new lines of sunglasses in the spring of 2007. An unknown number of additional agencies were also considered for the assignment. Optimum will develop public relations initiatives intended to create word-of-mouth awareness for the new products. “We were looking for a partner who could help Oakley Canada broaden the scope of our brand and contribute to the positioning of new products in key Canadian markets, and we found that with Optimum,” said Pierre Martin, marketing director for Oakley Canada. Optimum is a subsidiary of Cossette Communications Group.
