DIAL HIRES FORMER P&G EXECUTIVE

Dial Corp. of Phoenix, Arizona has hired Malcolm Jozoff to head the consumer products division, which will run as a separate company when Dial splits into two units. Chairman John Teets will run the services business, which will be the other division when the company divides in two. Jozoff resigned last September from his post as CEO of Lenox Inc., a maker of china. Jozoff knows consumer marketing. He spent 25 years at Procter & Gamble Co. Before leaving in 1992, he rose to the position of president of the worldwide health-care sector. Dial Corp.'s consumer products division markets products such as Dial soap, Brillo soap pads and Breck shampoo. It had about $1.4 billion(US) in sales last year. The services business, which includes airline support, convention services and money-order operations, had $2.2 billion in revenue.
