CanWest appoints vice-president for Vancouver Island community papers

CanWest MediaWorks Publications has appointed Ed Galenzoski to the newly-created position of vice-president of the Vancouver Island Community Publishing Group. Galenzoski was previously the advertising director of the Regina Leader Post. He has also worked for the MetroValley Newspaper Group. CanWest’s Vancouver Island publications include the Nanaimo Daily News, the Harbour City Star/Oceanside Star, the Comox Valley Echo, the Alberni Valley Times, The Pennyworth Shopper, the Cowichan Valley Citizen, the Courier Islander, the North Islander and the Westerly News.
