H-P SHIFTS U.S. PRINTER BUSINESS

U.S.-based Hewlett-Packard has moved its U.S. hard copy products account from Saatchi & Saatchi Avertising to Goodby, Silverstien & Partners of San Francisco. Hard copy products are primarily printers but the category also includes scanners and the Jetdirect Interface cards used to connect printers to networks. The hard copy account is one of several pieces of business H-P has put up for review in the past few months. In Canada H-P will continue to use Saatchi & Saatchi's Toronto office for all of its computer products, Canadian marketing communications manager Doug Garnett told Adnews yesterday.
