Globe and Mail promotes Summer Reading Series

The Globe and Mail has begun a promotional campaign in support of its Summer Reading Series. Each day for six weeks, the paper will run exclusive short stories by Canadian authors W.P. Kinsella, Bill Richardson, Donna Morrissey, Ed Riche, Lisa Moore and David Gilmour. Each story will run from Saturday to Thursday in the Review section of the paper. The initiative is being promoted with print, online and radio advertising developed by Naked Creative. Media buying is being handled by Gaggi Media. Direct-to-consumer activities, conducted by Free For All Marketing, will take place in Toronto and Vancouver. In addition, an online contest is being held at <http://www.globeandmail.com/summerreading>. Readers can enter a draw for weekly prizes and the grand prize of a $10,000 library by submitting a daily password published in the paper.
