Cellphone company Virgin Mobile Canada has begun a sponsorship promotion involving the program Rock Star: Supernova, a reality series that airs in Canada on Global Television. Virgin Mobile has signed-on as a Canadian sponsor of the show, in a deal involving virtual product placement. The brand will be digitally inserted into each of the 13 episodes. The deal was coordinated by Wills & Co.
