Innovative Fitness hold Fitness Fantasy contest with CanWest

Innovative Fitness of Vancouver has begun a three-month promotion called “Fitness Fantasy” with CanWest in British Columbia. The initiative consists of a contest operating in association with The Vancouver Province newspaper, Global TV and Canada.com. The contest began in May with an invitation for entrants to submit their fitness goals. Four of these entrants will be selected to participate in a three-month fitness program with a group of personal trainers from Innovative Fitness. Their progress will be followed on the Global TV noon news program, in The Province and on the website. At the end of the training program, viewers and the trainers will vote on which participant has attained their fitness fantasy. The winner will receive a one-week trip for two to the Koru Health Retreat, located on an island off the coast of Brazil. “We partnered with CanWest on this campaign because it linked health and fitness to achieving a goal,” said Matt Young, founder of Innovative Fitness. “This campaign is more than just a contest. It’s a motivational story that will hopefully get everyone thinking about their health and fitness goals.”
